UCAN Academy is now hiring! UCAN Academy operates two campuses in Humboldt Park and Auburn-Gresham, offering a K–12 year-round therapeutic day school experience. Our students come from diverse backgrounds and have unique needs addressed through Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). With small class sizes and a 5:1 student-to-staff ratio, we provide targeted instruction and support to help every student reach their full potential.

Designs and delivers specialized instruction to meet the physical, emotional, and creative needs of students in a safe, respectful environment.

Supports classroom instruction, implements educational activities, and helps establish and achieve learning objectives alongside the teacher.

Provide individual and group therapy, facilitate healing through Trauma-Informed Practices and Positive Youth Development, aligned with UCAN’s clinical philosophy.

Assist school staff in establishing positive behavior and facilitate healing using Trauma-Informed and Positive Youth Development approaches.
